For years, I was the woman who had it together. I was committed, consistent, dependable, and deeply in love with God. I served alongside my husband in our church and led where I was called. I carried responsibility without complaint, and from the outside, everything looked good. But no one knew what was happening at home. Underneath all the showing up was a quiet exhaustion I couldn’t name and wasn’t sure I was allowed to feel. Since I was a girl, I had been adjusting myself to become who others thought I should be. I had become so good at it that I no longer knew who Tonja was. Then my marriage ended, painfully and publicly. Everything I had been holding together fell apart, and everything I had been holding down came to the surface.

In that broken place, God didn’t meet me with disappointment. He met me with love.

For most of my life I had believed a lie: I have to perform to be loved by God. So I strived for perfection and kept serving and kept carrying. But in some of my weakest moments, when I had nothing left to offer, He poured His love out on me. Again and again, He replaced that lie with the truth: His love isn’t based on anything I do. It didn’t happen overnight. Over more than a year, the Lord gently led me through healing, revelation, and forgiveness of others and of myself. He healed places in my heart I didn’t know were wounded and restored parts of my identity I had silently given away. Most of all, He taught me how to receive His love. He's still teaching me.

I said yes to the woman God created me to be. Then I learned to walk as her. Now I live and lead from wholeness instead of pressure, and from authenticity instead of performance. That journey ignited a passion in me to walk with other women through the same doorway. I want to reach the woman who is carrying everyone, quietly running on empty, and wondering whether she’s even allowed to feel it. You are.

Today I’m a Certified Prophetic Heart Healing Facilitator and Certified Coach. In a Heart Healing Session, my role is simply to hold the space so Jesus can do what only He can do. The healing He brought to me is possible for you, and it’s waiting for you. It would be one of the greatest honors of my life to walk with you in this.
